Why battery power is best when it comes to your garden
Battery-powered tools are easy to use, affordable and efficient – and Worx is leading the way with its smart PowerShare battery

Forget about topping up your lawn mower with petrol or wrangling with your hedge trimmer’s power cord. Not only is battery power better for the environment because it doesn’t produce any toxic emissions or petrol fumes, but it’s also much more convenient and saves space, time and money.
With the versatile Worx PowerShare, you can do all your jobs around the garden with just a single battery that has all the power of a petrol product. PowerShare is one of the few cordless tool platforms to use the same battery to power a wide variety of high-quality, durable, 20V or 40V (2 x 20V) tools – from power tools such as drills and saws, to garden tools like trimmers and pressure cleaners.
So, with PowerShare, if you want to use your leaf blower after using your Landroid mower, you can simply remove the battery pack from the Landroid and then snap it onto the leaf blower, to get those garden tasks completed in no time.
As the same battery can be used for both tools, there’s no need to buy any additional batteries – and if you want to buy another tool in the future, you can rest easy knowing you’ll save more money (and storage space) as you’ll only need to buy the bare tool without another battery and charger. Plus, you’ll be doing your bit for the environment using clean energy and reducing the number of batteries and chargers being made.
Share batteries, save money
Getting started with PowerShare is as easy as one, two, three...
- Choose a battery
Simply select the standard capacity battery for common applications, or a higher capacity if more runtime is required. - Choose a charger
You can choose between Worx’s standard charger, the quick charger, the dual charger or even the car charger. - Choose a tool
All Worx tools are also available as a cost-effective basic version without battery and charger.
Just like your mobile, make sure your battery is fully charged before using it for the first time, and then going forward, looking after your battery will help it last longer. If your tool stops working, it’s out of power – don’t try to squeeze more out of it, as you may do long term damage to the battery. Ensure the battery is recharged regularly so it’s charged up and ready to use whenever you need it. And always store and charge the battery pack between temperatures of 0°C to 30°C to prolong battery life.
