Terms & conditions
1. The Promoter is Immediate Media Company London Limited (Company Number 06189487).
2. Who can enter
The promotion is open to the following:
Advertisers, who are registered as a company in the UK (“Advertiser(s)”)
Advertising agencies (“Agency(cies)”) who may enter on behalf of an advertising client, which must be a registered company in the UK (“Client(s)”)
The person submitting the entry on behalf of the Advertiser or Agency:
Must be aged 18 years or older
In the case of an Advertiser, must be employed by the entrant and have the necessary authority on behalf of their employer to purchase media space
In the case of an Agency, must be employed by the entrant and have the necessary authority of the Client to enter on the Client’s behalf.
The promotion is not open to the Promoter’s employees or contractors, or anyone connected with the promotion or their direct family members. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any participant or claimant of the prize.
3. The opening date for entries is 05/06/2025 at 00:00 and the closing date for entries is 23:59 on 04/07/2025.
4. By entering the promotion, the participants agree:
To be bound by these terms and conditions; and
That should they win the promotion, the Advertiser, Agency or Client name may be used by the Promoter for pre-arranged promotional purposes, which may include social media posts, promotion in trade publications and one or more case studies.
5. How to enter
Entrants will enter on behalf of the Agency or Advertiser they represent by:
Selecting the correct answer to the multiple-choice question
Entering their personal details
Entering the name of the Advertiser or Agency (and relevant Client)
Ticking to verify that they have authority to purchase media space on behalf of the entering Agency or Advertiser; and
Completing the entry box with their entry, answering the competition question in no more than 200 words.
6. Entries received after the closing date of the promotion will not be considered. Entries which do not include all of the information required will be deemed as invalid. Entries which, in the Promoter’s opinion, may be deemed offensive, discriminatory, inappropriate, defamatory or which are unlawful will not be accepted and will be disqualified.
7. The Promoter will use entrants’ personal details in accordance with the Immediate Privacy Policy.
8. After the closing date, all eligible entries will be reviewed by an independent judge, who will shortlist ten (10) entries (the “Finalists”) in accordance with the judging criteria below. A judging panel will then select one winner from the Finalists, in accordance with the judging criteria.

Entries will be judged on the following criteria:
1. ESG Impact
How clearly and credibly the activity aligns to ESG objectives:
- Environmental: Positive action on sustainability, climate, biodiversity, pollution reduction, etc.
- Social: Advancing diversity, wellbeing, fair labour practices, community engagement, human rights.
- Governance: Ethical leadership, transparency, responsible business practices.
2. Impact
Evidence of tangible, measurable positive outcomes achieved — or clear progress underway.
3. Innovation
Originality and creativity in the approach to delivering change.
4. Authenticity
How genuine, consistent and embedded the initiative is within the brand’s broader business practices and values.
5. Inspiration
The potential for the work to inspire others in the industry, among customers, or across wider society.
9. Only one entry will be permitted per Advertiser or, in the case of entries by an Agency, only one entry per Client will be permitted. Bulk entries made by third parties will not be permitted. It will be the responsibility of Agencies to verify that a Client has not made a separate entry. Participants who seek to enter more than once may be disqualified.
10. The prize
There is one prize available to be won. The prize is a digital advertising campaign supplied by Imagine, Immediate’s creative content studio, with inventory and services worth a maximum nominal value of £200,000. The specific assets of the campaign will be determined by the Promoter, in consultation with the winner, with the condition that the campaign will involve digital advertising formats only, relating to the Advertiser or Client described in the winning entry. The prize campaign will run between August and September 2025. The inventory will not be redeemable against any other brand, initiative, product or service that is not described in the winning entry. Inventory will consist of traffic drivers only, and a full media plan will be shared by Promoter with the winner upon consultation with Promoter. The Promoter will supply up to 20 hours of Imagine studio time (if required) in connection with the prize. The Promoter will allow a maximum of two rounds of amendments in connection with deliverables as part of the prize. To accept the prize, the winner must complete and satisfy Immediate’s client credit checks, and agree to the following terms and conditions:

Any inventory which involves a brand published by Immediate under license from BBC Studios is subject to the Advertising and Sponsorship Guidelines for BBC Commercial Services available at bbc.co.uk/editorialguidelines/documents/january-advertising-guidelines2025final-with-reference-to-old-editorial-guidelines.pdf and updated from time to time.
All deliverables included in the prize must be compliant with The UK Code of Non-broadcast Advertising and Direct & Promotional Marketing, and all relevant legislation, codes and guidance.
11. The judging panel decision as to the winner is final and no correspondence relating to the promotion will be entered into.
12. The winner will be notified within 21 days of the close of the promotion by the email used to enter the competition. If the winner cannot be contacted or fails to respond within 28 days of such notification being sent, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to another Finalist.
13. Entrants warrant that their entry will not infringe the intellectual property rights (including copyright) or, any other proprietary rights whatsoever of any third party.
14. The name of the winner will be available upon request by sending a self-addressed envelope to IM Clear Competition, Immediate Media Company Limited., 44 Brook Green, London, W6 7BT within two months of the closing date of the promotion. The Promoter will contact the winner before releasing this information and provide the winner the opportunity to object or limit the amount of information shared.
15. There is no cash alternative and the prize will not be transferable. The prize must be taken as stated and cannot be deferred.
16. The winner will need to substantiate any claims made in its assets as part of the prize. Immediate reserves the right to choose an alternative winner from the Finalists if these credentials are not available.
17. If you are shortlisted by the independent judge to be a Finalist, you will be contacted by Immediate to verify eligibility. If you cannot verify eligibility, Immediate reserves the right to choose a substitute entrant to be a Finalist.
18. The Promoter reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions or to cancel, alter or amend the promotion at any stage, if deemed necessary in its opinion, or if circumstances arise outside of its control.
19. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse any entry, claim or award of prizes and/or refuse further participation in the promotion and disqualify a participant where it believes there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the spirit of the promotion, any instructions forming part of this promotion's entry requirements or otherwise where a participant has gained unfair advantage in participating or claimed using fraudulent means.
20. The Promoter does not accept any responsibility for lost, delayed or fraudulent entries.
21. The Promoter excludes liability to the full extent permitted by law for any loss, damage or injury occurring to the entrant, Advertiser, Agency or Client arising from their entry into the promotion or occurring to the winner arising from their acceptance of a prize.
22. If there is a conflict between these terms and conditions and any other terms whatsoever attached to any advertising material in respect of the promotion, these terms and conditions will take precedence.
23. The promotion is subject to the laws of England and by entering this promotion the participants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
