Bring out the Bessie in you!

Aunt Bessie’s came to Imagine for help in reinforcing their Yorkshire puddings as a mainstay in roast dinners. Christmas and Easter were important occasions, however they also wanted to persuade their target audience of households with children, that Yorkshire puddings can be versatile all year round too.

Christmas was the perfect opportunity to shout about Yorkshire’s and Imagine got to work creating 2 ‘5 ways with Yorkie’s’ videos, 10 new still recipes, advertorials, an online interactive feature, a sponsored discussion and social and native articles.

The creative assets were delivered across BBC Good Food, Radio Times and Made for Mums. The campaign reached over 10 million people, which was a massive 107% over the KPI. All benchmarks were over achieved, with the bespoke made videos especially successful with an over 25% average completion rate and a high CTR.

After the campaign, our insight team conducted research to see if our audience’s opinion matched the excellent results, and they certainly did! Brand recommendation saw an uplift of 44% and 61% said the campaign made them think Aunt Bessie’s could be part of modern day meal choices too. The campaign created spending power with 36% going on to buy an Aunt Bessie’s product.
